Student Standards and Termination of Membership
The School is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive training environment for all students, instructors, staff, and guests. As a condition of membership, each student agrees to comply with the School's rules, policies, code of conduct, attendance requirements, safety standards, and instructional guidelines as established and amended by the School from time to time.
The School reserves the right to suspend or terminate a student's membership and participation in classes, events, examinations, tournaments, or other School activities if the student:
Fails to comply with the School's rules, policies, or code of conduct;
Demonstrates behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful, abusive, threatening, unsafe, or detrimental to the welfare of other students, instructors, staff, or the School;
Fails to maintain the standards of discipline, character, sportsmanship, or conduct expected of students of the School;
Refuses to follow reasonable instructions from instructors or staff;
Engages in conduct that may damage the reputation, operation, or integrity of the School; or
Repeatedly fails to meet attendance, training, testing, payment, or other membership requirements established by the School.
Except in cases involving serious misconduct, safety concerns, or conduct warranting immediate action, the School may provide the student with notice of the deficiency and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue before termination.
Upon termination by the School, the student's right to attend classes and participate in School activities shall immediately cease. Any prepaid tuition for services not yet rendered shall be handled in accordance with applicable law. Registration fees, uniforms, testing fees, tournament fees, equipment costs, and other charges previously incurred shall remain non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
The School's decision regarding suspension or termination of membership shall be final.
Right to Refuse or Terminate Membership
JUE'S TAEKWON-DO reserves the right, in its sole discretion and subject to applicable law, to refuse enrollment, decline renewal of membership, suspend participation, or terminate a student's membership when the School determines that the continued relationship is not in the best interests of the School, its instructors, staff, students, or families.
Grounds for such action may include, but are not limited to, disruptive behavior, harassment, repeated conflicts, failure to follow School policies, conduct that negatively impacts the training environment, unreasonable interference with School operations, or a breakdown in the working relationship between the School and the student or parent/guardian that prevents the School from effectively providing its services.
Except in cases involving safety concerns or serious misconduct, the School may provide written notice prior to termination. Upon termination, the student's right to participate in classes and School activities shall immediately cease. Any prepaid tuition for services not yet rendered shall be handled in accordance with applicable law.
