Leadership Team
Requirements
Rank Requirements: Blue Belt and Higher
Voluntary position
Students on the Leadership Team must be an active student
Term period: 3 months
Expectations
Students will choose (at least) one day per week to come and assist within the studio. The Leadership Team must be consistent each week to their weekly class.
Small goals will be provided to each Leadership student for their 3 month period. Once the 3 months are completed, students are evaluated and if renewed for another 3 months, they will be provided new goals.
Opportunities
As students gain more experience through the Leadership Team, different opportunities may open up to the student. These opportunities include, learning different roles at tournaments or testings, leading small groups in class, working individually one-on-one with students, managing the class roster, and eventually, may have the opportunity to submit applications for junior instructor positions leading your own class.
