Leadership Team

Requirements

  • Voluntary position

  • Students on the Leadership Team must be an active student

  • Term period: 3 months

Expectations

  • Students will choose (at least) one day per week to come and assist within the studio. The Leadership Team must be consistent each week to their weekly class.

  • Students must constantly be training and involved in the do-jang to further their own knowledge and skillsets.

  • Small goals will be provided to each Leadership student for their 3 month period. Once the 3 months are completed, students are evaluated and if renewed for another 3 months, they will be provided new goals.

Junior and Senior Leadership Positions

  • We are adding junior leadership positions to our Leadership Team! Junior leaders responsibilities to gain confidence and comfortableness in the classroom by helping out in the class. This position is so prospective senior leaders get hands-on experience before they become a senior leader.

Opportunities

  • As students gain more experience through the Leadership Team, different opportunities may open up to the student. These opportunities include, learning different roles at tournaments or testings, leading small groups in class, working individually one-on-one with students, managing the class roster, and eventually, may have the opportunity to submit applications for junior instructor positions leading your own class.
