Team Jue medal in Jr. Worlds

September 13-17th, 2006

Congratulations to Amanda Lee, Andrew Phan, Nidhi Mastey,
and Catherine Jue in their amazing success in the Jr. Worlds
of 2006! The week of September 13-17th, 2006 brought black
belts from all corners of the world to compete against the best.
Team Jue did a phenominal job in patterns, sparring, and team
competition.

Although Catherine Jue and Amanda Lee were up against each
other in their first bout, both showed great sportsmanship through-
out.

Great job as well to Andrew Phan. Although he became crippled
with leg cramp in the first round, he persevered and finished out
by giving another boy a bloody nose; awarding him the bronze medal.

Lastly, Nidhi Mastey did an excellent job- her second round was
against a girl much taller and bigger than her. Great show of
indomitable spirit!
